Day 1
Journey to Colca Canyon
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning.
During your trip you will make some stops, the first relevant one in Lagunillas, where you can observe a beautiful landscape and Andean birds. Our next stop will be in "Patawasi" in a restaurant where you will have a Mate de Coca (not included). Here you can see the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu from behind and observe the forest of stones, rock formations in the shape of trees. Here we change cars and continue our journey, making another stop in the pampas of Toccra. Here there are lagoons, water from underground. Discover llamas, alpacas and native muleteers, as well as some Andean birds.
The coming stop is the viewpoint of the Andes called Pata Pampa. It is located at an altitude of 4,900 meters and is the highest point of the entire trip. Here you can see 8 volcanoes that form a circle of fire. From here we will descend to Chivay, the most important city in the Colca Valley. Chivay is located at an altitude of 3,650 meters. Once in Chivay, we will have time for lunch. After lunch, the guide will take you to your hotel and in the afternoon you will meet with the guide to go to the hot springs called la Calera (entrance fee not included). After la Calera you will return to your hotel for the night.Overnight at Hotel Casa Andina Colca or similar.
Day 2
Cross of the Condor and continuation to Arequipa
After breakfast, at 6:30 - 07:00 am the guide will pick you up from your hotel, then you will take a road with a beautiful view of the Colca Valley with its terraces for an hour and a half hike to Cruz del Condor, from where you can see the Colca Canyon and the flight of the condors. After enjoying the Colca Canyon and the flight of the condor, we will return to Chivay the same way, but we will make some stops, the first stop is in the village of Pinchollo. The second stop is at the Huayra Punko viewpoint. From here you will have a magnificent view of the entire Colca Valley. The third stop is at the viewpoint of Antahuilque, from where you can see the terraces in the shape of an amphitheater and the mysterious lagoons of the Colca Valley. The fourth stop is the village of Maca. The fifth optional stop is the village of Yanque with its church, the most beautiful in the Colca Valley. Then we will return to Chivay where we will have time for lunch. After lunch we will go to Arequipa. We arrive around 16:00 and finish our service at your hotel.
