Day 1
Visit to the Inca site in Moray
You arrive in Cusco on an early flight and are picked up at the airport by your guide. You will then go on a short city tour of Cusco. In the late morning, you will continue to the Sacred Valley. You will visit the village of Maras and then continue to the Inca complex in Moray, where the progress of Inca culture can be seen. In this terraced experimental facility, agriculture was once practiced and the yields and water requirements of various types of grain and vegetables were tested. You will then continue to the Inca city of Ollantaytambo. Overnight stay in the Sacred Valley.
Day 1 - 3
Hotel overnight stay
In the morning, you will visit the temple complex of Ollantaytambo, which was used during the Inca resistance. You then take the train to the small town of Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu. You will be welcomed at the train station and taken to your hotel. We have two hotels for you to choose from in Aguas Calientes. The price includes the Hotel Casa del Sol Machu Picchu, a charming 4-star hotel offering full comfort. B&B
Day 2
Full day: Today you will visit the most famous Inca site in the world. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and will accompany you throughout the day. You will return to your hotel in the evening.
Day 3
2nd visit to Machu Picchu and return to the Urubamba Valley
Today you will visit Machu Picchu again in the morning. In the early afternoon, take the train back to the Urubamba Valley and spend the night back at your hotel.
