Day 1
Along the Andean highlands from Cusco to Puno on Lake Titicaca
Transfer to the train station. At 11:00 am departure along the Andean highlands to Puno on Lake Titicaca. Experience the combination of a luxurious train journey with the unique surroundings of the Peruvian Andes. A first stop on the route takes you to the ruins of Raqchi. At dusk, you will reach the highest point of the route, the La Raya Pass at 4,335 meters above sea level. In the late evening, you will arrive at the Belmond train station at Lake Titicaca, where the train will stop overnight. M/A
Day 2
Visit to Lake Titicaca
After breakfast on board, you will set off on an excursion on Lake Titicaca to the islands of Uros and Taquile. In the afternoon, continue through the Altiplano towards Arequipa. Dinner on board. At night, arrival at the Belmond Lagunillas train station, where the train will stop overnight. F/M/A
Day 3
Drive to Arequipa
Breakfast on board at Lake Lagunillas on the high plateau of Arequipa. Continue to the Sumbay train station. From there, you will visit the little-known caves of Sumbay. While you enjoy lunch, you glide leisurely through the panorama of the Andean volcanoes down to Arequipa, also known as the "white city". After your arrival in Arequipa in the afternoon, panoramic city tour and then transfer to your hotel or to Arequipa airport, arrival approx. 16:00 hrs. F/M
