Day 1
Transfer from Hotel Quito to San Vincente de Puerto Rico
Transfer with a boat to Ayanasha Lodge
You will embark on a river ride that takes 20 minutes, and during this ride, you get to enjoy the sights and sounds of the 800 hector nature reserve.
First impression at Ayanasha lodge
You will arrive at the lodge at 1 pm and a welcome cocktail will be served. A lunch with local cuisine will begin at 1.30 pm and at 2.30 pm, you will be brought to your rooms with a private bath, balcony, and a panoramic view.
Day 2
Visit the Kichwa community
In the mornings, you will get to see monkeys from the restaurant or from the privacy of your balcony. You will begin the day with an early breakfast at 8 am where you will visit the Kichwa community via boat. A healer will guide you through a spiritual healing ceremony, also known as "Limpia" where you are charged with positive energy.
You will learn the customs of this community such as the preparation of chicha (a typical local drink), cultivating seeds and native plants or using spears for hunting.
Visit the freshwater beach
At 6pm, you will enjoy your dinner and choose from the following activities for your after-dinner adventures:

Depending on the weather, you can go for a night walk, where you get to look for frogs, phosphorescent insects, and reptiles.

You can also prepare and make your very own organic chocolate from the world's finest cacao.
A complimentary cocktail is also provided as you enjoy the sunset.
Day 3
After breakfast, you will get to go on a boat ride, to watch the birds flying across the peaceful waters of the Guachiyaku river as well as observe other endemic animals around the area.
Here is a great photo opportunity, as the waters create a mirror effect, reflecting the breath-taking landscapes of the rainforest.
You will return to your hotel at 10.30am
Check out is at 11 am, and at 11:30, you will travel to the Puerto Rico Harbour to return back to Quito.
