The artist Fausto Merchan is famous in Ecuador for his murals. They can be found throughout the country in restaurants, private homes and hotels. Merchan began collecting antiques as a child. He has lovingly restored his private home in Quito's old town, transforming it into a gem where 18th-century living comes alive.
With only three guest rooms, the B&B is an oasis of art in the heart of Quito's vibrant old town. Each room is different in style and atmosphere and features a private bathroom. Guests enjoy the amenities of a private home with wi-fi, free drinking water, and a homemade breakfast. In addition, Fausto Merchan is an extremely good host, who takes personal care of his guests, and also opens his studio for them. He offers painting classes upon request, as well as dinners and cooking classes featuring Ecuadorian cuisine.
