Your Travel Experience with chilepro

Belmond Palacio Nazarenas is a hotel in a former convent built on Inca walls at the center of Cusco, Peru. It is located in a small square close by the Plaza de Armas and the city cathedral. The hotel stands on the site of a former Inca building and reuses stones that may have been used in the original construction. Shortly after the new building's completion as a private home in the mid-1500s, it had a succession of owners, including the famous warrior and gambler Mancio Serra de Leguizamón. For a short period of time, it was also a convent.

Guests staying at this fairy-tale hideout can expect to enjoy many amenities available at the hotel including the Spa, an outdoor pool, an in house restaurant, library and patios to idle away those sleepy afternoons. Restored with care and precision, the rooms are an inviting mix of Spanish colonial elements and modern boutique standards. Thus, allowing guests to indulge in an unusual yet unique ambiance, at one of Cusco's most historically rich hotels.

Other exciting activities lined up at the hotel includes yoga sessions, cooking classes, dress-up time for children to try on traditional Peruvian costumes, Salsa classes, glazed ceramic classes as well as Pisco tasting. Pisco is a fine grape brandy and also the nation's pride.
