Hostal Puerta Roja was born out of a love for the Magallanes region and a desire to preserve the architectural heritage of Punta Arenas. The careful renovation of a typical Magellan house dating from 1925 has created a place where history and the present blend harmoniously. Between glassed-in galleries and sheltered courtyards, a warm, inviting atmosphere unfolds – authentic to the style of southernmost Patagonia.
Hostal Boutique Puerta Roja is located in Punta Arenas, just an 18-minute walk from the beach. It offers a well-kept garden, cozy non-smoking rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout the building, and a terrace. Some accommodations feature a courtyard with a view of the garden.
The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, safe, and electric kettle. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries; selected rooms also offer a kitchen with a refrigerator. Bed linen and towels are provided.
