Rainbow Mountains - Hike at Palccoyo

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco in the morning and accompanied by our guide you will be driven as close as possible to Rainbow Mountain (about 4 hours drive).

Here starts your hike around the mountain of the seven colors. 20 kilometers away from the main visit point of the famous Rainbow Mountain there is a lonely mountain range. Away from the tourist crowds rises an impressive landscape where the colors of ocher, green, red and blue invite visitors to explore the Rainbow Mountain of Palccoyo. The hike there is much easier than the usual visit point Vinicunca, since the slopes are flatter. The hike in Palccoyo takes about one hour. It starts at 4,700 m and goes up to 4,900 m altitude.

Return at the hotel at about 18:00 hrs.
