Day 1
Arrival in San Cristóbal and visit of the beach La Loberia
This morning you will fly to San Cristobal, where you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel.
In the afternoon you will visit the beach "La Loberia" to observe up close sea lions sunbathing and playing, you can also snorkel or swim there.
Day 2
Kayak tour, interpretation center and tijeretas
In the morning you will go on a kayak tour.
The National Park Interpretation Center, located on San Cristóbal, was built in collaboration with the Spanish Science Center. It offers you a very good overview of the Galapagos Islands, the history of their formation and the flora and fauna. It also tells the story of the first settlers on the islands.
At the foot of the Frigate Bird Rock there is a small bay called "Tijeretas" where you can enjoy snorkeling.
Day 3
Kicker Rock/Leon Dormido with snorkeling or diving
Today you will head into the water for a glimpse of the fascinating and colorful underwater world of Galapagos. Kicker Rock, or Leon Dormido as it is called by the locals, is the last remnant of a tufa cone that rises over 143 meters from the sea. If Kicker Rock were a building, it would have almost 50 stories! Along the rim and through a channel of this drastic, compact ash formation, you'll go hunting for sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, chocolate starfish and, if you're lucky, a Galapagos shark or two. Don't worry, they won't be as interested in you as you are in them.
You will have the afternoon at your leisure.
Day 4
Highlands; Galapaguera Reserve
In the prairie-like highlands of San Cristóbal Island lies the reserve "La Galapaguera", a breeding station for giant tortoises. Many of the cozy giants move freely here in their natural environment, seeking out cooling mud holes, slowly chewing a few blades of grass or leisurely going their way without taking any notice of you. In addition to the armored animals, ruby-crowned cranes and mockingbirds also feel at home in the dry tropical climate.
Day 5
Transfer and departure
You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport.
